I INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP IN POLAND

 

A three-day workshop in Poland for representatives of NGOs and local / regional authorities 29-31.05.2012
The transnational workshops for representatives of NGO and local authorities in Poland under the project, Transnational cooperation against violence’. Workshops were held in Wałbrzych and Jedlina Zdrój. The aim of the workshop was:
- to exchange experience and knowledge on methods of cooperation between NGO and authorities in solving violence problem;
- to identify best practices of helping violence victims by NGO's and authorities;
- to identify best practices of working with violence perpetrators;
- to increase knowledge of the participants on possible common projects that show
a new approach on preventing violence against children, woman as well as youth violence.
The workshops topic concerned the exchange of information about the role of the non - governmental organisations, local authorities as well as their cooperation in the area of violence prevention, common programmes and projects preventing violence and helping violence victims.
